Flappy Planner is a browser game I made in 2014 for personalplanner.com.

Flappy Planner was based on Flappy Bird that was popular at the time. You control a flying planner book and avoid enemies and obstacles. The game has references to other popular things from 2014, like Angry Birds, Gangnam Style and What Does The Fox Say.

The graphics and characters were inspired by the "Dumb ways to die" music video that was trending at the moment.

I made this game for Personal Planner, where I worked at the time. During the summer of 2014, we ran a high-score list and shipped prizes to the players who achieved the top score each week.

We had a booth at a convention that year in Kista and Flappy Planner projected on a screen. We had a big red button that people at the convention could press to play the game with. It was so much fun watching people play the game in person!
