About me

Hello!
My name is Douglas Gavelin, I'm a 34 year old all-round game designer and level designer.
I have always had a great passion for games and art and spend almost all of my spare time working on creative projects. I design, code and animate.
I’ve worked in IT and web development for 11 years and always had creative projects on the side, including successful browser games. Now I’m looking to fully transition into the game industry as an all-round game designer, level designer or technical designer. I'm a soon-to-be graduate of the Game Design program at Futuregames in Stockholm, ranked as one of the best game development schools in the world.
I also make art and animations in my spare time, just for fun. Over the years I’ve made everything from video games, 3D animations and wallpapers, to name generators and album cover generators. Along the way I amassed a huge following online.
