Game versions

The Awakening has several published versions that fixed some bugs and added a few new features. In later versions you can check the game version in the menu screen. I published my changes on Newgrounds, Armorgames and Kongregate, but these updates did not follow on other game sites that shared my game.

Version 1.0
One notable bug that was present in the game when it was first published was that pressing the "Sleep" button didn't work at a point in the story where you had to press it to continue, but pressing the shortcut "Alt" or Q still worked. This was fixed in a later version.
Version 1.0 does not have a version indicator in the menu screen.

Version 1.1
The "Sleep" button bug is fixed. A version indicator is added in the main menu screen.

Version 3.5
The answer to the riddle by Agga was changed.
In version 2.5 or lower the answer was 'Fire'.
In 3.5 it was changed to 'Light'.
Had I done this today I would have done things differently. This was needlessly confusing, I would have had both answers as valid.

In version 3.5 I added the Super Hard difficulty that can be accessed by the cheat "Piece of Crap".

Version 4.2
This version was the last update to the game, published 2019.
